MY STORY

I was born and raised in Montana until I attended the University of North Dakota for my undergraduate studies. I then transferred to the University of Evansville in Indiana for Physical Therapy school which I graduated in 1994 with my master’s in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science.

I began working in Cincinnati and worked there for 15 years. During that time, I acquired my Massage License from SHI Integrative Medical Massage School. I also had opportunities to work with clients in the Cincinnati and Nashville Ballet, Barnum and Bailey Circus, Broadway performers, touring rock stars and ATP Tennis Masters Series Players.

In 2009 I could feel the pull to circle back to my roots and moved back out west to Scottsdale, AZ. I have a deep love for horses. I have been able to combine my professional skills with my passion for the equestrian lifestyle. In Arizona, I added to my professional toolbox a Comprehensive Pilates Certification, training in Equine (Horse) Myofascial Release and am the only certified Equestrian Pilates instructor in Arizona.

My specialized skills include being classified as an “Expert” Myofascial Release Therapist, Pilates, Equestrian Pilates, Myofascial Cupping and Kinesiotape (RockTape), and Full Instructor for the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Treatment Center and Seminars.

Clients and colleagues describe my work as intuitive, innovative, sensitive and precise. I utilize my comprehensive knowledge, experience, and diverse education into a whole-body approach to meet each client’s individual needs.

When I am not in the office you can find me out trail riding with my horse Chester, Country Swing dancing or spending time with family and friends.
